Dirty Baby

I had saved up my Birchbox points to get this. This is an awesome color! Two coats and it looks great and lasts. The bottle is so cool! For the people who have trouble applying because of the cap -- just pull the large cap off. There's a smaller one underneath, just like every other nail polish with a large cap.

Great polish!

Went on great & only took 2 coats to look fantastic. It dries fast & I loved the brush. Note that the bulky gold lids come off to make application easy.

I absolutely do not know how this nail polish can have so many great reviews...the actual polish color (black with sparkles) is pretty, but other than that, this was a no-go for me. So the bottle is cool looking, right? However, the actual brush is super awkward to hold and VERY heavy. So it is also difficult to flip the brush when painting (to use the polish on the other side). I dropped it like 3 or 4 times. Luckily I had an old towel down! The other issue is the actual consistency of the polish itself...it's clumpy and doesn't spread well at all so you have to layer and layer. It's also more of rough/gritty texture when as it dries...so it definitely needs a topcoat to smooth things out. Now I own over 125 different polishes...from various brands and in tons of colors/consistencies...and I do my own nails WEEKLY. So not to sound snooty, but I know good polish! This is one of the worst ones I own now as far as ease of use and end result go-which makes the high price extremely upsetting. NOT HAPPY and will never purchase again from Smith and Cult.

love this color, lose the packaging

Love love love the color. one of the best i've seen in a while. kinda black, but with just enough gold/silver tone to be age appropriate for any age.
That being said, the packaging is pretty to look at but really impractical to actual use. The lid is so heavy it is unwieldy and so wide with a short brush (because bottle is short) you can hardly see past the cap to the brush when painting. Someone spent too much time on how the packaging looked on the shelf and not enough on actually using the product. I would buy this color again in a minute - just as soon as they put it in a better bottle.

Best Nail Polish

I love Smith and Cult. I can keep a pedicure for a good 5 to 6 weeks without any chips. I gave this color 4 starts because of the glitter; when it was time to take it off it was stubborn with my non acetone polish remover.
