Birchbox Breakdown

If all natural elixirs were running for prom queen, apple cider vinegar could give coconut oil a run for its money. This multi-tasking substance is everything from a dandruff eliminator, to a teeth whitener, to a detox agent, and now adds complexion corrector to its list of benefits. Experience the magic of this once-overlooked quasi-condiment (all-natural toner), which balances skin pH and closes pores after cleansing. This powerful toner also fights acne without harsh chemicals, relying on the antibacterial qualities of witch hazel.

How to Use

Apply toner to a clean face with cotton pad before serum and face cream daily, preferably in the morning and at night.

Witch Hazel Hydrosol (Hamamelis virginiana), Rosemary Hydrosol, Lavender Hydrosol, Tea Tree Hydrosol, Aloe Vera, Apple Cider Vinegar, Extracts of: Evening Primrose Oil, Laminaria, Bayberry, Rosemary, Butchers Broom, Blackberry Leaf, Gotu Kola, Red Rooibos Tea, Guarana, Coffee, Ginko Biloba, White Tea, Green Tea, Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), Bladderack, Grapeseed, Horsetail, and Kelp

sumbody smack me!

...cause my thoughts upon seeing the small bottle of detox toner is that some body charged a hefty price for a bottle so small and that I never saw it . doh. 4 oz! Also the bottle looks like it is missing product, but I figure it's as they had to make it exactly 4 oz. not one squirt more, so to get the value of 6 dollars and oz. exactly.

Next on front of the bottle which can't be seen on the photo is "closeout" before it reads facial toner. What does closeout mean?

If I saw this in a health store I would never pay that much for it though the ingredients are excellent, and if it does some overnight miracle, then I will confess I was wrong.

I don't recall it reads handmade anywhere which is important to me to realize. We can hope that the ingredients are what they say, yet that goes with any handmade item...yet I never seen that many here on Birch. the oil I got last box I think it was handmade, not sure.

Well, I guess I had it coming to me for whatever karma maybe I was a bad girl and need to wake up and really read the amount vs. the price. I get handmade if is labor intensive costs more, but many that are not hand made cost more, wish it had added that in the description. If it is good as it says and for the price one pays I can't afford to buy it cause it's not much. I have bought from handmade websites before, this one of the priciest I come across.

It has small visible many shapes and sizes of particles floating around in it when to me toner is to get the particles off ones face. I don't know if it is organic as it does not say...that would make a difference. It looks like it would dirty my face. I will try it though and cross my fingers I don't get a bad reaction.

I should not have purchased the hype meant for a Queen. As far as Witch Hazel, that is nothing new, been around long time and I been using it. First ingredient...geesh I can get pure Witch Hazel with no particles for way less. My bad, one of those impulse shopping things.

If you don't mind spending this much for a little bit considering what it is, then go for it. I for one feel it was major my fault as I was searching for detoxifying toners and moisturizers. I was glad to see this online but sad to receive the little bottle.

Okay, I will give it two days. If it does what it claims sure I would get more even at the price but word to the wise (as that was not me, yet maybe others noticed)...look at the oz.
per amount to compare. I see it has excellent ingredients if that is what is actually in this home made product one reason I purchases and for detox. I maybe putting the cart before the horse, I have before, but we shall see.

Hope to at least get my bonus for 35, I spent a lot of points on the order and used the card given in winter box. Now I can't plug in any of the bonus offered that was so grandly advertised on front page. I just gave up and sent in an order last night. Just having a lot of doh moments I guess, not the best way to start a new revolution of one point of Earth around the elliptic called New Years day. Contemplation is in progress.

It's a travel size. Or it's in competition for Tata Harper (not exactly hand made, but home grown)...Chantelle (?), by that. Plus other hight end welll known names.

Well, said enough may eat my words but I will humble myself and apologize if it does this miracle it is to do with 4oz. and particles so small I can see, like bits of dust and bigger...they can lodge in my pores...don't know how that will help. Maybe it's the new skin care in new way of shopping? Ding dong's like me fall in the vat and become particles. Maybe I should send this to particle collider program.

Best to all and such may not be a matter to others, but to a few it might and I think it is an honest review just upon receiving. I should try it yes. If I err and turn into Cinderella I will somehow get the message of my regrets to those that deserve it.

Win a few, loose a few. Yet "closeout "looms in the back of my mind like bottom of the barrel? What does that mean?
Hate to think if this is marked down how much it was before it went on closeout.
