How to Use

After washing your face, massage three to five drops of the oil into face and neck. You can pair this face oil with any moisturizer or serum for extra hydrating effects.

Artemis Essential Oil Blend [Eucalyptus Staigeriana (Ethically Farmed Lemon Ironbark) Oil, Backhousia Citriodora (Organic Lemon Myrtle) Oil, Citrus Paradisii (Organic Pink Grapefruit) Oil, Punica Granatum (Organic Pomegranate) Seed Oil], Nigella Sativa (Organic Black Cumin) Seed Oil, Silybum Marianum (Organic Milk Thistle) Seed Oil, Linum Usitatissimum (Flax) Seed Oil.

Why didn't I splurge sooner?

Six months ago I was in the Birchbox store revamping my entire skin care routine and Dana (she's awesome go see her !) took me over to Sunday Riley and told me about this and Ceramic Slip.

At the time my skin was clear of breakouts so I just purchased Ceramic Slip and kept this in my maybe pile.

Last week I took a trip to Chicago and came back with a face full of acne so I immediately went to Birchbox and picked this up. I've been using it just short of a week and am in love!

My skin irritations have almost completely gone away and the wrinkles on my forehead are becoming less noticeable. Another perk is that my makeup has been staying PUT ever since I've been using this and it has added a really pretty dewy glow.

Some people might not like the strong smell but it fades as soon as I put my makeup so it doesn't really bother me.

I'm so mad that I waiting this long to purchase it!

So sad!

I had such high hopes for this and was so excited to receive it, after having worked my way through a sample of the Luna oil. This is not for sensitive skin. I developed perioral dermatitis all throughout my T-zone. I didn't even mind the smell. I just wanted this to work so badly. It totally ruined my skin. I can't recommend this.

Amazing Oil That is Being Discontinued

Although some people don't love the smell, I do not mind it and the results speak for themselves. I have oily skin that responds so well to this oil in the AM. I just started using UFO on t-zone and chin (LOVE), but I still use Artemis around the rest of my face in the AM. Sunday Riley is discontinuing this oil and it breaks my heart! The Artemis + UFO combo is amazing. I messaged SR and they told me formulas are good 18 months after opening. I just bought a back-up of Artemis. A bottle lasts me a good 6 months (I use 3 drops/day). I hope she reconsiders, but if you have oily skin and love a good oil, grab this guy. I use four of her oils daily and my skin glows. Amazing product line!

Loving the oil...the smell is rough

I purchased this oil after purchasing one of the more expensive Sunday Riley face oils, and I wanted to see if the less-expensive one worked just as well. I have found that the Artemis oil works even better! I have combination, acne-prone skin, but I use Retin-A and take an oral medication so breakouts are rarely a problem for me now. The more expensive face oil from Sunday Riley was very moisturizing, but led to increased breakouts. As soon as I started using the Artemis oil, I have not had a breakout since. I believe that this is due to this oil being significantly less emulsifyingly heavy than other face oils. The only con is that the smell really isn't great. It says bright and lemony, but it's more like a caustic lemon odor. Personally, smells don't bother me, but others did get mad when I put it on on a long car ride, and they said the smell bothered them #divas #amiright? The smell really does go away after a while, and I love this oil so much I'm still going to keep buying it regardless of the weirdly fake, demonic, lemony smell.

Improvement within a week

At first the scent is a little strange but once you get used to it, it's sweet and lemony. At least for me. I use it at night since I have oily skin and didn't want an oil for the daytime. It has been helping with some acne and hyper pigmentation. I prefer this over the Luna oil.
