I've been looking for an eye cream for my dark circles for years, this one is a winner! It won't make them disappear but it did fade them and it's lightweight which I also like. Also, this is an ounce of product rather than .5 which seems to be what others are so don't be put off by the price as you are getting more.
I purchased this item thru Birchbox because Sephora did not carry it on their US website for some reason, it's only available in Canada. Anyway, I had read the reviews about the packaging but just wasn't expecting it to be quite this bad. I did notice the other day that you can twist it on and off so if you throw it in your purse it doesn't squeeze out all over the place. But basically the roller is WAY too big for anyones eye. They needed a roller ball if they wanted to do this like Clinique's Pepstart eye cream uses. So basically I squeeze the product out and dab with my finger. I think I like the formula but I haven't had it long so time will tell. I may return due to the packaging. Something this pricey shouldn't make me work so hard to get it out!
Disappointed because it stings the eyes
The cream does seem to reduce eye puffiness. However, it "stings" if I get it too close to my eyes, so it is not getting 5 stars from me. And because of this, I will continue to look for another eye cream.
Metal Applicator Tip
I love the cream, but the new packaging is very annoying. If the metal applicator tip wasn't such a pain, I would be using this daily. Please change this back to a normal squeeze tube, Sunday Riley!
Just received this yesterday. When I took the outer cap off, the applicator head came off too, because it was stuck in the cap. I had to use pliers to get it out, and mangled the entire top of the packaging doing so. After 15 minutes, I finally got everything back together, but the applicator doesn't appear to be working well. For $75 it shouldn't be this hard. I love Sunday Riley products, but I won't be purchasing this again unless the packaging changes. Also, the metal applicator is huge.
