Sooooo this was wonderful! I'm a sun worshipper all summer, and I usually end up going to the tanning salon by February of every year, when I start feeling really gross. The older I get, however, the more I worry about fine lines, so I finally decided to order some of the dreaded self-tanner. I probably read every tip, trick and tutorial available before I finally just took a deep breath and applied my Tan Towel. I showered, exfoliated, applied the world's lightest layer of Cetaphil lotion, waited a few hours, put my hair in a ponytail with a headband holding my bangs back, donned latex gloves, and then just went for it, rubbing the wipe all over my body in big circles, starting at my legs and working my way up. I tried to make the half-body towelette last for my full body by re-misting it once it started to dry out, but I don't think I would do that again. A few hours later I had a barely-there tan with a really light face, so I ended up re-applying a second time, this time using two half-body towelettes, one for the butt down and the other for the tummy up. I went to sleep and woke up pretty tan, close to the shade I get from the real sun, just evener, with no redness. That tan lasted me a full 6 days until I finally decided to exfoliate and start over. Now I walk around feeling bad about how jealous everyone is of my bangin' winter tan. I'll definitely buy again, but probably just the towels next time, and not bother with the mist.
