The moisturizing formula makes a great eye makeup remover – pour a few drops onto a cotton ball and gently wipe eyelids and lashes until they’re clean. Rinse with warm water.

Birchbox Breakdown

Cleansing milks aren’t the sexiest skincare products in the world — they don’t foam and they don’t give you that rigorously scrubbed feeling. But that's a good thing— this light fluid gently dissolves oil and dirt without drying out skin to leave your face satiny soft and hydrated. Plus, we adore the meadow fresh scent.

How to Use

Pour a small amount onto your fingertips (it’s really runny, so be careful) and lightly massage onto a damp or dry face, avoiding the eye area. It won’t foam, so be sure to concentrate on areas where you have lots of oil or makeup. Remove with warm water or damp washcloth.

Wonderful Cleanser

I've been using Weleda's Cleansing Milk off and on for the past seven years or so, and every time I try something else, I regret it and come back to the Weleda.

It doesn't foam, it doesn't bubble, it doesn't do anything fancy. It's simply a gentle, delicious-smelling cleanser that won't strip your skin, but will leave it clean.

SO SO....

I tried this product after reading blogs about how people with sensitive skin can benefit from using cleansing milk, after using the entire container I can definetly say I tried but did not like it.

I'm not sure what kind of meadows they hang out in at Weleda, but this was certainly not a meadow fresh scent or fresh at all... It took several attempts to get past the smell, it smells like moth balls and chemicals.

It did in fact dry out my skin which is a normal and seldom dry to begin with, which was a huge negative in my book. It did not cleanse well, or seem to do much of anything really...
