Its that time the year again. The holidays are right around the corner, the temperature has dipped below freezing, and the chances of us leaving the comfort of our heated homes is getting lower and lower. I strongly believe that the recipe for a perfect holiday movie marathon is as follows:
- 5-10 classic holiday themed movies 
- 1 (or 2) appropriately themed cocktails
- 1 delicious themed snack per holiday movie that you watch
- 1 snuggly blanket
- 2-3 of your best friends

We all know Buddy the Elfs four main food groups are candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup. So stock up on candy canes and grab "the worlds best coffee" to make yourself an Irish version using this easy recipe!
- Pour 1 cup hot coffee into warmed glass until it is about 3/4 full.
- Add 1 tablespoon brown sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
- Blend in 1.5 ounces Irish whiskey.
- Top with whipped cream, serve hot, and enjoy!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas + Who Hash + Hot Chocolate & Peppermint Schnapps

The grinchs heart grew 3 sizes, and we hope your appetite does, too! Make room for a delicious Who Hash, courtesy of Seussville.com, a favorite among the Whos down in Whoville, and pair it with a delicious spiked hot chocolate!
- Pour 1 cup of hot cocoa into a mug and add 2 ounces of peppermint schnapps.
- Top with whipped cream.
- Serve hot.

Love Actually + Chocolate Biscuits + Winter Wonderland Cocktail

Travel east to England with David from Love Actually and enjoy the Prime Ministers chocolate biscuits youve been hearing so much about. Find the recipe here. Pair with a cocktail as classic as the movie itself: eggnog!
- Combine 2 cups of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla in a small saucepan over low heat. Slowly bring mixture to a low boil.
- In a large bowl, whisk 6 egg yolks with 1/2 cup of sugar until yolks are pale in color. Slowly add hot milk mixture to egg yolks in batches to temper the eggs and whisk until combined.
- Return mixture to saucepan and cook over medium heat until slightly thick, but does not boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in heavy cream and 1/3 cup bourbon or rum (optional).
- When ready to serve, garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon.
